I am registered with the Washington State Department of Health, as a Certified Hypnotherapist #HP10001222.   My business license is registered with Milton, Washington, and I am a proud member of Milton's Chamber of Commerce.

As a graduate of Tacoma Community College Hypnotherapy program, taught by Mr. C. Roy Hunter, I am proud to work in association with Mr. Hunter of "Alliance Self-Empowerment Inc." while still working in my own practice.  I now teach the same course along side C. Roy Hunter as an Associate Instructor in my own school of hypnosis.

I am also a member of "The National Guild of Hypnotists" and the "International Medical, Dental Hypnotherapists Association. In order to maintain my membership with the NGH and the IMDHA, I earn a total of 15 continuing education credits each year.  I attend the National Guild of Hypnotists Convention each year in Massachusetts where I attend classes to further my Education on Hypnotherapy, taught by some of the most recognized Hypnotherapists in the world.

As a Hypnotherapist I have provided comfort care to Hospice patients through Franciscan Hospital.  I'm Certified in "Complimentary Medical Hypnosis".  This certificate enables me to communicate with and assist physicians with patients who are having difficulty with issues that are preventing them from completing the program their physician wants them to follow.  For instance, a patient who must manage their weight for health reasons, but has emotional blocks which are preventing them from following the program.  Or a patient who has had a stroke, but cannot follow the program for rehabilitation because they are afraid and cannot seem to go forward.

I am also a member of the Milton/Edgewood/Fife Chamber of Commerce.  In order to best serve my community I believe it is important to be involved and informed as well as contribute toward the development of my community and what is best for the people who live here.

Some reasons why I became a Hypnotherapist and why I believe in its Power:

* I suffered personally with depression and years of counseling with no help before I learned first hand the power of hypnosis. I want to show you how to tap into your own power and be set free for life.

* I was sick for most of my life with an illness that was finally diagnosed as Fybromyalgia, and I am free from that debilitating illness to this day and always.  I want to guide you to that same freedom just as I have experienced through the power of Hypnotherapy and Self-Hypnosis.

* I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder as an adult and I've learned first hand how Hypnosis can help heal the past and help stay focused on the future.

* I know that anyone who wants to take control of their life and has the desire to use their own empowerment can be shown to a place of peace and true healing through the power of their own mind.  Because Hypnosis has worked for me, I now have the privilege to help guide others to gain back control of their lives as well.

I belong to one of the most recognized organizations for Hypnotists, the National Guild of Hypnotists, founded in 1951.  I am proud to be a member of this organization in good standing, which has been furthering the education of Hypnotists around the world. For more information on this wonderful organization you may reach them at http://www.ngh.net or .mailto:ngh@ngh.net.

I am often asked the question, "What does Aldebaran mean?"  Aldebaran, pronounced Al-deb-a-ran, is the name of a group of small stars that appear to look like one bright star in the Taurus Constellation.  When I read that I felt it was a beautiful symbol to represent how I wanted my clients to feel about themselves when they use the power of their mind.  My goal is to help my clients to discover what is preventing them from achieving their desired goals through the Art of Hypnosis and to guide them to discover and use the power of their own mind (to reach for the stars) and achieve those desired goals.

I also hold this goal for my students, helping them to "Reach for the Stars" to help others to do the same.  This is a very rewarding profession and I am very excited to be part of training future Hypnotherapists to go out and make a difference for themselves and for others as well!
